DRUM HOISTING BAND

A safe and simple way to lift steel drums via an overhead hoist. The Hoisting Band uses our proven over-centre clamp to secure the band to the drum. It is rated for drums to 350 Kgs.

GRAB-O-MATIC

This is a heavy duty Forklift attachment rated for drums to 750 Kgs. It will lift Steel & Plastic drums and uses a patented, fully automatic beak to secure to the drum. This product is designed for high volume drum movements where downtime is unacceptable. The robust frame can be supplied to lift either a single or two drums at once for higher productivity.

DRUM DOLLY

This is a heavy duty dolly rated for drums to 500 Kgs. It can be modified to include a brake or to suit a specific drum.

FOLDING DRUM RACK

A heavy duty rack at an economical cost and that can be loaded/unloaded with any of our Lift & Tip machines. Easy to move on robust nylon wheels. Save space and fold away when not in use. The rack suits 205 Litre Steel drums to 350 Kgs.

4T4-EZE

Safe effortless movement of steel drums to 300 Kgs. Simple over-centre lift and positive attachment to open or closed drums. Can be supplied with optional large load bearing wheels to suit uneven floors.

DRUM LEVER

Provides leverage to take a drum from the floor in the horizontal plane to the vertical plane. When reversing this operation, it will take the drum from the vertical plane to approximately 45° and then allow it to drop onto a rubber tyre or piece of conveyor belt. A Bung Wrench is integrated into the handle to offer greater useability.

TILTING & UNIVERSAL DRUM RACKS

The standard heavy duty Tilting drum rack is designed for steel drums. It takes minimal effort to take a drum from the vertical plane to an elevated horizontal plane so it can be decanted. The heavy duty Universal Drum rack will handle both Steel, Plastic & Fibre drums and operates the same as the Tilting Drum rack. Both Racks feature a removable handle so that drums can be easily decanted.

PALLET LOADING DRUM TRUCK

An economical method of taking steel drums on and off standard pallets. It uses a spring loaded beak in conjunction with chime engagement to safely handle drums. The Pallet Loading Drum truck makes an ideal tool for moving drums around on uneven floors due to the large 280mm puncture proof wheels.

MULTILIFT DRUM LIFTER

A proven, economical machine to lift either steel or plastic drums to 350Kgs. It uses a heavy duty, gear reduction, auto-brake winch to safely raise drums 1,200mm from the floor. The MultiLift Drum Lifter will load and unload drums from the corner of a standard pallet.

DEPALLETISING DRUM TRUCK

Designed for high volume loading and unloading of pallets. Heavy duty, compact designed machine to lift steel or plastic drums with a fully automatic beak. Foot activated hydraulic system for lifting with a self levelling action so that open top drums can also be handled safely. Precision needle valve lowering for optimum control. Easily used by all operators. Rated for drums to 350Kgs.

MULTI-TIER DRUM RACKS

Designed as a modular rack in 2 high or 3 high configurations. Great for Drum storage or to suit multi decanting needs. Easily loaded and unloaded by the Grip Type Drum Lift & Tip machines.

SG MODEL

This range of Lift & Tip machines has been proven over 30 years and with its compact design, suits tight working areas, mezzanine floors or where lighter framed operators are involved with the Drum Handling process. It uses a heavy duty steel Girdle with a quick acting over-centre clamp to secure the drum. A foot operated hydraulic pump is used for lifting and a heavy duty gearbox for 320° of controlled tipping of the drum. The standard machine is designed to handle 205 Litre Steel drums that have two equi-spaced chimes over its length. The machine is offered in three lift heights – 1,900 mm with 350 Kgs capacity, 2,100 mm with 300 Kgs capacity and 2,700 mm with 350 Kgs capacity. It can be modified to handle a variety of drums or appliances and can be optioned with compressed air components for effortless lifting.

GRIP MODEL

This innovative range of Lift & Tip machines are designed for high volume movements of steel 205 litre drums to 350 Kgs capacity. They are manufactured in three lift heights of 1,600 mm, 2,000 mm and 2,700 mm. An optional 3,000 mm lift is also available. The Grip type machines are heavy duty to suit constant drum handling (lift & tip) requirements. They use our proven foot activated hydraulic lifting system and can be fitted with optional Compressed air or 12 Volt Deep Cycle Battery, for the lift process. The Grip type machine will load/unload drums from a standard pallet and place them on the floor, racks or decant into your process. Drum tipping is carefully controlled through a worm type, gear reduction gearbox that precludes auto rotation from the drum. Grip type machines can also be fitted with special Grippers to suit specific Plastic or Fibre drums. Many other options for this range of machines are available.

Need to Weigh drums?
The Grip type machine can be fitted with either an Industrial scale or Intrinsically safe scale system where Tare or Gross weighing is required. Both will offer accuracy of 0.5 Kgs.

Need a machine to work in Food, Beverage or Pharmaceutical areas?
The Grip machine can be built in 304 Stainless steel or a combination of 304 Stainless Steel at the Drum handling end of the machine and a hard wearing 2-Pack epoxy frame.

Need a Lift & Tip machine in Intrinsically safe work areas?
The Grip Type machine can be supplied with Anti-Static wheels and an Earth Lug to fully comply.

RIM GRIP MODEL

This range of Drum Lift & Tip machines is designed to safely handle a broad range of drums. These can be 205 Litre or smaller, in Steel, Plastic or Fibre construction. The Rim Grip machine is designed for those applications where drums sizes and materials of construction are varied, and all need to be lifted and decanted. The Rim Grip machine uses a screw operated Rim Clamp. The clamp comprises a large surface area, fixed lower section in conjunction with a fully adjustable upper section. Drums can be lifted once the clamp is secured to the drum. A Web belt and quick acting stainless steel over-centre buckle are applied to retain the drum when decanting.
The Rim Grip machines share all the benefits available on the Grip type units.

HOISTING TIPPING YOKE FOR CRANE APPLICATIONS

The Hoisting Tipping Yoke is manufactured in two configurations. The steel Girdle version is suited to safely handle Steel drums that have two equi-spaced chimes over their length. It is offered in an optional heavy duty configuration for drums to 500 Kgs. The Girdle uses our proven over-centre clamp to secure the drum through the lifting and tipping process. 360° of Drum rotation is available through a heavy duty, worm drive, gear reduction gearbox that precludes auto rotation from the drum. The Yoke is provided with Fork Lift pockets to facilitate handling on and off the crane hook. Modified length yoke pictured to allow clearance for Convert-A-Cone with Spigot/Flow Control Valve.

DRUM TIPPING FORK ATTACHMENT IN RIM GRIP CONFIGURATION

This Fork Lift attachment offers safe drum for a wide variety of Drum types and sizes. It utilises the Rim Grip attachment which has a uses a screw operated Rim Clamp to secure to the drum. The clamp comprises a large surface area, fixed lower section, in conjunction with a fully adjustable upper section. Drums can be lifted once the clamp is secured to the drum. A Web belt and quick acting stainless steel over-centre buckle are applied to retain the drum when decanting. A heavy duty worm drive gear reduction gearbox provides 360° of Drum rotation. An optional hand chain operation is also available.

HYLOADER MULTILIFT

This proven, heavy duty Multi-purpose Lifter is an ideal alternative to the Fork Lift Truck and is capable of performing various lifting operations simply by exchanging attachments. It is rated for 350 Kgs at a 350mm Load Centre and uses a single section, 'DuraGal' mast for maximum visibility and durability. The self aligning carriage uses eight diagonally opposed roller bearings for optimal load stability / distribution. Lifting and lowering are achieved through a heavy duty, gear reduction, automatic brake winch and wire rope. The MultiLift can be manufactured with almost any base configuration together with various mast height options. Standard attachments include Fixed Forks, Adjustable Forks, Slip-On-Platform or a three position Jib. HYLOADER MINILIFT

The MiniLift stands out as a heavy duty lifter without compromise. It is rated to safely handle 200 Kgs at a 350 mm Load Centre and uses a 24 Volt battery circuit for lifting and lowering. It is designed for high uptime in Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Factory applications. There is no ‘metal to metal’ contact at the mast/carriage assembly which eliminates any foreign particles migrating into your process. The MiniLift uses our extruded aluminium mast with an off-set nylon bearing system and a Poly Cog Belt with integrated stainless steel wires imbedded in the rear of the belt for maximum security and longevity. Drive to the belt is via a direct flange mounted electric motor to a worm type gearbox and a cog pulley on the output shaft. It features an Electronic Overload protection to preclude operators lifting above the rated capacity. Lifting and lowering limits are set via IP 67 Limit Switches. All other electrical hardware is enclosed in an IP 65 Enclosure. The MiniLift also offers three ‘Ramp Speed’ variants to tailor lift speed acceleration in critical applications or where loads being handled are very sensitive.

HYLOADER COMBOLIFT

This lifter is a combination of our MultiLift benefits in a lower rated machine capacity - 150 Kgs at a 350 mm Load Centre. It uses all of the MultiLift attachments and is visually, hard to differentiate from the MultiLift. In the manual version a 5:1 or 3:1 ratio, automatic brake winch and wire rope are used in the lift/lower process. Winch ratio is selected with the load as a reference together with operator effort vs. efficiency. In the Electric lift version, an electric lifting winch with wire rope is used for effortless lift & lower operations. The ComboLift is an ideal selection where loads are 150 Kg or less. This allows a lower cost lifter with all of the proven benefits of the MultiLift machine.

EZ LOADER

Are heavy duty, self levelling, fully automatic Pallet positioners. They use a patented pneumatic Firestone Airstroke Actuator to raise and lower the pallet. It is positioned between the centre of the platform and the centre pivot of the scissor leg to provide a balanced support and uniform load distribution between the scissor legs. The Airstroke Actuator is warranted for life against workmanship and material defects. The EZ-30 is rated for Pallets with a maximum weight of 1,360 Kgs. The EZ-45 is rated for pallets with a maximum weight of 2,040 Kgs. EZ Loaders automatically raise and lower as the load weight changes. There is no need for additional shock absorbers or the need to change springs when load capacity changes. The EZ loader uses a captive air source to automatically control load adjustment. Hydrum offers full parts and service support and many standard and custom options to tailor the unit to your application.

HYLOADER LIFT TRUCKS

A Manual lift & Powered option available with a 1,200 mm Straddle to enable standard Pallet handling. The Manual version uses our proven foot operated hydraulic lift and is rated for 750 Kgs at a 600 mm Load Centre. The Powered lift is rated for 1,000 Kgs at a 600 mm Load Centre and uses a 12 Volt Power-pack with an integral fully automatic Battery Charger. These units are ideal where loads handled are delicate or usage is low frequency so as to avoid using an internal combustion Fork Lift. Both unis are offered with ‘Pin’ type adjustable forks and have large roller bearing wheels with polyurethane tyres for ease of movement over most industrial surfaces. These lifters can be modified to lift Mandrels or fitted with a Jib or other attachment.
